Standex Electronics KT Series integrates high technology packed into a small, compact design. This high voltage reed relay is capable of switching up to 1kVDC, breakdown voltage of 4.2kVDC, isolation voltage of 7kVDC and features a high insulation resistance (IR) >10^13 O. Standex’s KT Series is available in both a surface mount (SMD) or through-hole (THT) design.
The KT Series has no internal solder joints and the ability to meet minimum creepage distance requirements, while measuring only 8mm x 10mm x 30mm. A typical alternative energy application includes measuring isolation resistance across several components within a solar system prior to grid connection preventing further injury or further current leakages. The KT Series has been tested in accordance with AEC-Q200, UL listed.
